Get the Most Out of Your Job Posts
There are several "best practices" that job posters can follow to ensure that they receive the maximum possible benefit from adding their job listings to the Locate Jobs Network. Following these steps will naturally lead to a greater number of pageviews from qualified candidates, thus increasing the number of applications and maximizing return on investment.
- Create Your Job Posts with Proper Titles and Descriptions
- Use very descriptive titles and properly-worded job descriptions, including details about the employment position. Include words your ideal candidates might use to search for your open positions. This will naturally increase exposure for your job posts and increase the quality of the candidates you attract.
- Include Specific Keywords in Your Job Post
- For best performance and maximum cross-posting of your job, use the "Job Keywords" field to include a list of the most relevant terms related to your job listing. If you have any questions about how best to add keywords to your job posting(s), please do not hesitate to contact us.
- Link to Our Job Boards from Your Website or Blog
- Organic recruiting means that our niche job boards are dependent upon search engine rankings and traffic to deliver the best available candidates. Linking from your website or blog to the Locate Jobs Network job boards where your job posts have been added will have an immediate, positive effect on targeted candidate traffic to your posts. Use anchor text that is relevant to your job posts for maximum impact. Please do not link to individual job posts as this will not improve performance and will eventually result in broken links from your website or blog.
- Track Candidate Flow Using a Tracking URL or Dedicated E-mail Address
- We do not offer an integrated applicant tracking system (ATS) or statistics on job views and applications. We do, however, encourage all of those posting jobs to our job boards to utilize a dedicated e-mail address that is specific to your job post in our system, as well as a third-party applicant tracking system, so that you can accurately track the results of your job posts with the Locate Jobs Network. Among your job-posting sources, we may not deliver the most applicants, but we strive to deliver the best applicants.
